Cheap Feather Centerpieces

I found this image and had to share. So many brides (myself included) want to use feathers for our centerpieces, however feathers are EXPENSIVE!!
I saw this and said OMG we can do this CHEAP!!

What if you purchased feather boas from a place like Hobby Lobby (where they are like 2 bucks each) and wrap it around a awesome vase a few times? It would give the effect of fullness if you wrapped it around at least 2 or 3 times!
For extra glitz maybe add some of the bling stones in the jar with the candle!!
Ohh you could even get colored feather boas!!

I am going to do a test run tomorrow at Hobby Lobby and see what I can get. This could be FAB not to mention CHEAP!!!

Feather boas here (same look as in picture!)

4 feet long 2.99 EACH!!
Thats 3 bucks a table plus the cost of a vase and some dollar store pillars..
WHOOO SEXY ON A BUDGET!!!!

This is a beautiful and elegant idea! What type of vase was used and what height?

I really love this idea! I want to incorporate feathers into my wedding centerpieces since they'd be cheaper than real flowers, but I hate those palm tree looking feather centerpieces! These are glam, stylish and fun without making the wedding look tropical haha! Thanks for posting!

Super lovely feather centerpiece idea. It would be a perfect centerpiece for the fairy theme wedding that my own sister will be having at one of the domestic New York wedding venues. She will have DIY party and I am finding some inexpensive ideas for her day.
